____ Pot scrubber

____ Paper towels

____ Trash bags

____ Rain gear

____ Whisk broom (and dust pan) for sweeping tent

____ Sunscreen

____ Insect repellent

____ Sneakers or hiking shoes (maybe a couple of pair?)

____ Walkie-Talkies (you don't want to have to yell for your boy!)

____ Jacket/sweater (it gets cold in the woods from Nov – Feb, even though this is Florida)

____ Long pants for night (helps keep off the mosquitoes)

____ Change of clothing (one per day plus one)

____ Swimsuit/beach towel

____ Bath towel/washcloth

____ Bath soap and shampoo

____ Personal toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste/brush, comb)

____ Medication

____ Fishing gear

____ Food, drinks, snacks (absolutely no food stuff in the tents; the raccoons have amazing sniffers. Don’t test them, unless you want holes in your tent! And if you are going to keep food in your tent, don’t set up next to me!)

____ Zip lock bags (I put my sneakers in one overnight to keep the dirt out of the tent. Don’t zip it or they might be ripe by the morning.)

____ Cooler with ice and lid for food storage (preferably a locking lid; those raccoons again! There is usually a wooden structure where we can store the food and coolers.)

____ Water jug, canteen, and/or water bottle(s)

____ Cub Scout Handbook
